The Basic Acrylic mop head combines an acrylic yarn with a twill cotton backing cloth in a 40 × 13 cm commercial format (41 cm actual). The acrylic fibre generates a natural electrostatic charge when sliding over the floor that attracts dust particles, fine sand and light soiling, retaining them within the mop head without redistributing them into the air. Unlike wet microfibre mop heads, this refill is designed exclusively for dry dusting — the pre-mopping step that removes surface particulate soiling before applying the cleaning solution.
